Volunteer Practical Experience Internship The New Phoenix Assistance Center offers College Students, interested in Social work or students just interested in applying a little real world work with their Degree, opportunities to expand their horizons. Students currently pursuing degrees in social work or psychology can intern with our Program Director and Case Manager in any of our three programs. It will give students practical experience in case-managing teen wards, or women living with HIV/AIDS. The New Phoenix Assistance Center is completely cooperative in helping students apply their classroom credit against their work experience here. |
Mentoring, Tutoring, & Housing Support
The New Phoenix Assistance Center is always looking for talented people, who want to donate their time, to assist our clients in acheiving a higher level of independance and dignity. Volunteer opportunities are available to mentor and/or tutor some of our clients and their children. |
